Msambweni Member of Parliament (MP) Suleiman Dori is dead, family sources confirmed to local media
His Kinango counterpart Benjamin Tayari also confirmed his death.
Hon Dori died at Aga Khan Hospital in Mombasa on Monday morning.
A relative, Shahame Azizi, said he passed on at around 5 am at the hospital where he has been receiving treatment for cancer.
“I have received the news this morning. His body is at Aga Khan. We are making arrangements to be there,” Mr Tayari told local media
Hon Dori’s death comes after he had gone silent for months and was not seen in public.
Hon Dori was elected on ODM ticket but was a tanga tanga diehard, he at one time together with Hon Aisha Jumwa and his Lungalunga counterpart Hon Hatibu Mwashetani faced the party disciplinary committee and were deWhipped from parliamentary committees.
