As Valentine’s Day approaches, Co-op Bank is making it easier for Kenyans to access quick loans through its MCo-opCash mobile loan service. Customers with salary or business accounts can borrow up to KES 1 million instantly without paperwork, phone calls, or collateral, ensuring they can make their celebrations memorable.

How to Apply for an MCo-opCash Loan

Co-op Bank customers can apply for an MCo-opCash loan using a simple process:

  • Dial *667# or download the MCo-opCash app.
  • Register for free on your mobile phone.
  • Log in with your MCo-opCash PIN.
  • Select E-loans.
  • Check your loan limit.
  • Click on Apply Loan and follow the steps.

Once approved, the funds are deposited into the customer’s MCo-opCash wallet, a virtual account linked to their mobile number. The money can be used directly or transferred to their primary Co-op Bank account.

How to Check Your Loan Limit

Customers can determine their borrowing eligibility by:

  • Dialing *667#.
  • Logging in to the MCo-opCash app.
  • Selecting Check Limit.

This provides an instant update on the amount available for borrowing.

Secure and Convenient Payments with a Co-op ATM Card

To enhance convenience, Co-op Bank encourages customers to use their Co-op ATM card for seamless transactions during Valentine’s festivities. The card eliminates the need to carry cash and can be used at multiple outlets.

  • The only deduction made is the cost of the item purchased.
  • Every transaction requires the customer’s ATM PIN for security.
  • The VISA-branded card is accepted for payments in Kenya and abroad.

Easy Payments via PayBill or Till Number

Customers can also make direct payments using *667# or the Co-op Bank app:

Paying via *667#:

  • Dial *667# and log in.
  • Select option 7 (PayBill/Till).
  • Complete the transaction.

Paying via App/Web:

  • Log in to the Co-op Bank app or web portal.
  • Select ‘Bills’ then ‘Till’ or ‘PayBill’.
  • Enter details and confirm payment.
