They should have prayed for it… I hadn’t been invited to the Harambee but they brought a card to the office like many other such fundraisers. My office decided to rudisha all cards from across the County with 2K each. About 60 cards.
That Sunday I attended Kaheti Catholic church where I was invited as a guest & I donated 50K… The Harambees in Catholic Churches are across the Diocese because of the Bishop’s House Project.
I have contributed to many church harambees including my local church, my parish & many more (It’s a long list).
I will do right of reply on the erroneous story… somebody is being mischievous after our successful development projects eg a water dam at 8M… it’s a sick joke in Kenya where one steals devt funds & gives out the cash in Harambees.
That is 170k on one Sunday for 61 Churches. In fact we should be asking Nyokabi where and how she got all that money not criticizing 2000 bob sent to one congregation by her office – wt
