Prime Minister Rt Hon Raila Odinga today in his hotel suit in South Africa met former President of Nigeria General Olesugun Obasanjo. President Obasanjo is a revered leader who put Nigeria in the path of democracy.
The two discussed various emerging issues in the continent.
Later in the afternoon before departing for Nairobi the former Prime Minister and CORD supreme leader met with Hon Hakainde Hichilema, leader of Zambia’s United Party for National Development. The two discussed recent events in the continent that have Africa rolling backwards in democratisation and liberties after the struggles of 1980s and 1990s.
Raila will tomorrow joins other Kenyans of goodwill in a countrywide peaceful demonstration to demand immediate resignation of the corrupt and outrightly biased IEBC commissioners.
