DRAMA: Finally DP Ruto allowed to view body of Mzee Moi at Parliament buildings

DP Ruto finally got to see the body of retired president His Excellence Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, last week he caused drama at Lee Funeral Home where he tried to use his office to intimidate the management to show him the body that was at the time undergoing embalming.

Baba Moi passed on on Tuesday 4th April at the Nairobi hospital where he had been admitted with breathing difficulties, mzee was over 95 years old.

Most of Daniel Moi’s peers have left, only Charles Njonjo, Semion Nyachae, Mwai Kibaki and Moody Awori are still kicking.
The body of the former President Daniel Moi left the Lee Funeral Home for Parliament Buildings ahead of the public viewing from today until Monday.

The military truck carrying the body made its way from the Lee Funeral Home through Valley Road escorted in a military convoy.

The casket was draped with the Kenyan flag.

Military officers accompanied the truck side with family members also in the procession

KDF soldiers lined up along the entire route to Parliament Buildings where the body is to lie in state for three days.

The casket carrying the body will be wheeled by a carriage.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta to be the first to view the body before other leaders and then members of the public.
