To the Kidero cheerleaders who are directing barrage of personal attacks including threats of physical harm toward those who criticize the lacklustre tenure of Governor Evans Kidero, it’s important to appreciate Kenyan voters are an enlightened lot.
Not even an unlikely endorsement by the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga can assure Kidero of a second tenure. That’s how difficult it is. Looking to use Gov Ali Hassan Joho as an excuse is also stupid. Joho is performing wonders in Mombasa. He is doing what he was elected to do. To us ODM supporters, Gov Joho is one hundred times to the party what Kidero is.
The demand is simple. Let Kidero publish his scorecard for the people of Nairobi to judge if he is deserving of their governor or they flush him down the loo. This is the time for accountability. But even before that, he has CORD supporters to contend with. He has taken what he was given on a silver platter for granted for too long. His time of reckoning is here. Let’s see if those billions will buy support and votes.
CORD will not massage the ego of spoilt and incompetent leaders. You have had your term. What did you do with it?
