LNyamira County Governor John Nyagarama has congratulated the people of Kisii and Nyamira counties on the successful conclusion of elections on November 7, 2017 in Kitutu Chache South Constituency, Kisii County, and in Bogichora Ward, Nyamira County.
The ODM-elected governor praised Richard Onyonka for his reelection as MP for Kitutu Chache South and George Morara who clinched Bogichora MCA seat
“In the two electoral areas, NASA candidates from various parties scored more than 80 per cent of the vote. The two winners emerged with an overwhelming victory. This shows that the Gusii region is firmly in NASA,” he said on Wednesday at Hon Morara’s Sironga home.
Nyagarama added that despite Jubilee having invested massive resources and government machinery in the region so as to woo voters, the people decided to “vote for their development and future.”
