KURA apologizes over poor state of Kasarani-Mwiki road

The Kenya Urban Roads Authority has now apologized to Kasarani residents over the dilapidated state of the Kasarani-Mwiki road.

This comes after area residents and matatu operators there held protests over the state of the road which has affected transport in the area.

Although KURA has awarded tenders for the construction of the road, the contractor has failed to meet deadlines for the completion of the road which is in a sorry state.

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko recently called on KURA to fast track the construction of the crucial road that links Kasarani and Mwiki.
