Flamboyant Nairobi senator Mike Sonko Mbuvi has threatened to ditch Uhuru’s Jubilee party if Water CS Eugene Wamalwa will be handed the Jubilee nomination certificate.
Sonko who garned the third most votes after Uhuru and Raila in the 2013 general election expressed his frustration with push for project Eugene Wamalwa.
If it is a question of delivering Nairobi governor seat I have the numbers, I will make Kidero minced meat at the ballot, we need not import Eugene for us in Jubilee to win the seat. I will defeat Kidero by mid-day on election day- Sonko was overhead complaining to a Statehouse operative who paid him courtesy call in his KICC office.
Sonko hinted that he will slow down on matters Jubilee if top Jubilee operatives continue to treat him as unwanted in the party, he said he got options including and not limited to running as an INDEPENDENT candidate.
Just like it happened in Makadara constituency, if Jubilee gives Eugene a direct ticket without credible party primaries then I will go direct to the people of Nairobi.
Uhuru and Ruto will will suffer a severe political blow if Sonko the king of Ghetto quits Jubilee considering his massive support in Nairobi and accross the country especially among the Youth.
