South C Ward Rep front runner Hon Osman Mohamed held lengthly discussions with top ODM officials at a city hotel. The youthful Osman is challenging the incument Hon Dayana Kapin who has since decamped to Jubilee.
Hon Kapin is facing uphill task in trying to retain the seat, the other contestant is a Mr Jama who is facing abribery allegation in which he is accused of buying a nomination certificate from an Orange house operative cum NEB broker, the party has since refuted claims sayong Jamal may be holding onto a ‘fake’ party certificate as he was not in the offcial llist of candidates issued with direct nomination. NEB chair Hon Pareno has denied having issued certificate to any south c aspirant.
Osman a darling of the youth and voice of the voiceless in the community has worked hard to claim his space both in the community and in the party high table.
He will be competing for ODM nomination among other 15 aspirants for the South C ward in Langata Constituency.
