We as ODM are extremely concerned about the revelations that this Company was involved in the Kenyan election given their reputation worldwide. They have admitted to running Uhuru Kenyatta’s campaign messaging and propaganda, sacrificing facts in order to drive emotions.
The target of their fear campaign was of course the NASA Presidential Candidate H.E Raila Odinga who is the ODM Party Leader. We indeed saw very distasteful propaganda and fear mongering directed at stoking ethnic animosity against H.E Odinga during the campaigns, a most dangerous adventure given existing ethnic fissures in Kenya.
We would want our Jubilee counterparts to come clean on the role CA played in their campaigns, especially in the new found spirit of dialogue in the country, so that we can openly deal with the rifts created by these political mercenaries on the fabric of Kenyan society.
In order to protect our nascent democracy from such Foreign Political Mercenaries it may be desirable to curtail or ban, through legislation, their involvement in our politics.
