The DCI has concluded that Kenei did not commit suicide but was murdered in cold blood. I’m suspending my support for the DP until his office comes clean on their involvement in this matter!
H.E. Ruto represents my story and the stories of millions of Kenyans. That has been the basis of my support for him. His ascendancy to the presidency would have sent an unequivocal message to the young boy walking barefoot in my village that it can be done. That it does not matter where you come from or what your surname is. With hard work, you can be whatever it is you want to be.
But after the murder of Kenei, it will be difficult for any Kenyan to tell his/her son/daughter to emulate Ruto! I think he owes Kenyans answers. If he really respects hustlers, let him call a press conference tomorrow and address the nation on this issue.

Meanwhile CCTV footage released on Thursday by DCI George Kinoti seems to confirm that Kenei was part of the scam that saw ex CS Rashid Echesa use the Office of the Deputy President and the signature of Defence Cabinet Secretary Amb. Monica
Juma to allegedly cut a fraudulent multi-billion shilling deal.
Echesa and his co-accused; Daniel Otieno, Clifford Okoth, Kennedy Oyoo and Crispin Oduor, have since been charged over the Ksh.39 billion scam.
The four were accused of, among other things, attempting to obtain a total of Ksh.39,544,200,000 from a foreigner by falsely pretending that they would award him a tender by the State Department to supply military equipment.
The suspects pleaded not guilty to all counts – obtaining money by false pretences, conspiracy to commit a felony, uttering a false document. The court released them on bail as investigation into the scandal and murder of sergeant Kenei continue.
DCI Kinoti in a graphic presentation ruled out suicide and confirmed Kenei death was cold murder that was careful planned. He took issue with ODP for trying to cover up via manipulation of CCTV footage and sending contradicting letters to DCI.
