Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto openly snubbed President Uhuru Statehouse-Sagana meeting of governors, said he opted to campaign for the Mashinani Development Party candidate in Nyangores Ward, Bomet County ahead of today’s by-election.
Governor Ruto cheekily retorted that the Jubilee coalition had called for the dissolution of the affiliate parties and therefore he was busy popularising his outfit. “Jubilee is not serious in ensuring devolution succeeds. The leaders are trying to shortchange the entire process through unconstitutional means. It is busy trying to extend the term of the Transition Authority to continue holding on to devolved functions,” he said.
The Nyangores win is a double loss for Mt Kenya having ealier today lost at the ICC ruling in which the judges REJECTED use of RECANTED evidence from witnesses who were procured and couched by Moses Kuria and other Mt Kenya mafia operatives.
Once DP Ruto is set free by the ICC he will be free to pursue his political dream with or without Uhuru and Mt Kenya mafia.
