Kisiis need to keep a watchful eye on the Jubilee overtures. In the first place, did Kisii IDPs get the 400k or land that was given to IDPs from 2 communities? Uhuru has made the worst mistake to rekindle old wounds during his tour…our people were ejected from Rift Valley in 07/08 and suffered immensely but when a kitty was established to compensate the PEV victims, Kisiis were left out. As if that was not enough, Uhuru goes a head to associate Raila Odinga with THE PEV. TOO BAD!

Sincerely, Uhuru Kenyatta has ran out of jokes. On his trip to Kisii, I expected this to compensate the Kisii IDPs that were chased away from Rift Valley by the Kalenjin Mujahideen.I expected him give Ksh400K cheques. I expected him to hand the IDPs title deeds of an acre piece of land each just as he did to his community. That way, he would have assuaged the “hot under the collar” Gusii community, thus endeering himself into their hearts.
Mesmerizingly, this is the same man that sent the Mungiki attack-dogs to massacre Luhyias and Kisiis in Naivasha whereas it was the Kalenjin warriors that were disciplining Kikuyus. As if that is not enough, he had the temerity to admit before the cameras that given a chance he’d repeat it again and again. Now look at what he did in Kisii yesterday. Hanging this poor kid on the rooftop of his beast, risking his innocent life just for media cosmetics. This act is totally unwished. No wonder denizens burnt Jubilee paraphernalia in protest to his cheap promotions gimmicks.
