Xiaomi Kenya has launched the Redmi 15, the latest addition to its smartphone lineup, promising unmatched power, visuals, and sound at an affordable price.
The device comes with a massive 7000mAh battery, Xiaomi’s largest ever in the global market. According to the company, the phone can deliver up to 28 hours of video playback and nearly 30 hours of reading time. Even at just one percent charge, it allows up to an hour of calls. With 33W fast charging, reverse charging support, and advanced battery health technology, Xiaomi says the Redmi 15 is built for both endurance and reliability.
The Redmi 15 also features a 6.9-inch FHD+ immersive display with a 144Hz refresh rate, TÜV Rheinland certification for eye comfort, and DC Dimming for reduced strain during long use.
For audio, Xiaomi has added a 200% volume boost supported by Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos, promising an immersive sound experience whether gaming, streaming, or listening to music.
On design, the phone sports a quad-curved back with metal accents, measuring 8.55mm thin and weighing 224 grams. It comes in three finishes — Sandy Purple, Titan Gray, and Midnight Black.
Under the hood, the Redmi 15 is powered by the Snapdragon 685 Mobile Platform on a 6nm process, paired with up to 16GB RAM (via memory extension) and storage expandable to 2TB. Running on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, users will access features like Circle to Search, Google Gemini integration, and Xiaomi Interconnectivity.
The camera setup includes a 50MP AI dual camera at the back and an 8MP selfie camera, with Auto Night Mode for clearer low-light shots.
Durability is also a key focus. The device is IP64 dust and water resistant and supports Wet Touch Tech 2.0, allowing it to function even in damp conditions.
