IEBC Chebukati Confirms DP Ruto Figure of 7.5Million as Total Voter Turnout

Date:

In a surprise turn of events, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati has contracted his own numbers 6.5m and instead endorsed the figure 7.5m DP Ruto had told CNN as the total number of votes.

He explained that 3.5 million people voted between  8am-4pm while the remaining 4million voted btwn 4pm-5pm.

Now, if 17,000 Kiems Kits captured this data. Let’s assume each KIEMS kit had equal contribution.
235 people voted in that one hour per KIEMS kit.
1 hour is 60 min and therefore 3,600 seconds

It took approximately 15 seconds per Voter between 4 to 5 pm in 17,000 polling stations.

Hail Chebukati
Hail IEBC
