Thousands of Coast residents joined the leadership of Mombasa county in unveiling the renaming of a road in Nyali- Fidel Odinga Street. Fidel was the fist born son of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and also a grand son to the freedom hero Jaramogi Odinga.
The 41 year old Fidel was a nationalist par excellence, he interracted with Kenyans of class, he had friends accross the country and was not tribal in a highly tribal society.
