Lawyer Willie Kimani MURDER: Civil Society was SILENT over KILLINGS by POLICE of LUOs in Kisumu, Jacob Juma. WHY? hypocrisy?

THE HYPOCRISY OF THE KENYAN CIVIL SOCIETY:
By Woun Loch

Innocent Kenyans lost their lives during the anti IEBC protests across the country. Innocent children, professionals and women were brutally shot by the police. Great was the silence of the civil society.

I take issue with the way the lawyer Willy Mwangi, his client and driver were killed. It’s and issue that beckons justice and whose perpetrators deserve to rot in jail.

My big issue is with these supposed human rights activists who are now all over in the name of fighting for justice. Where were they to demand justice for those who died from police bullets in Kisumu and Homa Bay?

What is the worth of life? How do they value life worth fighting for? Is life valued only when it belongs to a certain community? Are others dogs who deserve to die without mercy?

The Kenyan civil society have become political turncoats serving at the behest of their political master.

While I mourn and condemn the death of the lawyer and the two other associates, I chose laugh at the action of the human rights activists who play to the gallery.

Every life is valuable and Must be defended!

Meanwhile another Kenya, Peterson Omindi had this to say:

“This is useless, coz Kenyan attorneys are like Kipchumba Murkomen, and Githu Muigai, folks who shield the system….. Have never condemned ICC witness disappearances…. Now Willie Kimani is gone….yet we didn’t see this gusto when Yebei disappeared….these policemen find it OK to murder because they executed such assignments from the high and mighty in this xtry before. And so it’s not a coincidence that this impunity is intensified in this regime….”
