What next for DP Ruto who has been pushing all Kalenjins including Gideon Moi to join Jubilee?
The revelations that a group is laying claim to the names ‘Jubilee’, ‘JAP’, ‘Jubilee Party’ and that this group had been successfully registered may be as well be an excuse Jubilee wanted to retain their primary parties.
Fact is; Jubilee is so disorganized and so distrusting to come up with a single party. Mt Kenya mafia are plotting against the Kalenjins and the kalenjins are plotting against Mt Kenya mafia. Both TNA and URP need an excuse to remain independent of each other.
Then, without KANU joining it, the other parties which formed Jubilee are briefcase parties which are inconsequential in the larger scheme of things.
So it appears the Jubilee Coalition as presently composed agreed between themselves to have a third party register Jubilee and lock them out of the headache they are currently in. Remember both TNA and URP are individual based, highly dictatorial parties with a top-down approach to politics. The two parties have never had grassroots elections. They were formed using M-Pesa details of Kenyans.
They accuse ODM of fiasco but at least we assemble and disagree. With all the state resources and claims to event management capabilities we’ve seen during state functions, Jubilee have now postponed their joint national delegates conference FIVE times.
This is because in case of a political disagreement during a joint national delegates conference, some delegates will end up at Lee Funeral home, or the nearby Nehema Uhai hospital with very deep cuts.
