It is not clear yet if it is the NASA coalition agreement that gave Wiper Party an exclusive right to field governor seat for Kwale of Hon Chirau Mwakwere felt unconfortable in ODM.
The former Jubilee dancer and Lingala soloist left ODM and joined Wiper on Thursday saying the latter party was most suitable.
Wiper, led by Kalonzo Musyoka, and Raila Odinga’s ODM are both under the National Super Alliance.
The former Kenyan ambassador to Tanzania ditched President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto’s Jubilee Party early in February.
He has been making moves in preparation for the August 8 poll which will see him vie to succeed Governor Salim Mvurya.
“I would have still faced him [under Nasa] because my plan was to join Wiper,” he told the Star on Tuesday.
He added: “I am proud to be in Nasa because they will sweep Jubilee from power.”
The politician spoke after Kalonzo and other Wiper leaders received him in Nairobi.
