Hope Returns to the Capital of Western Kenya Takes Over as Kisumu Governor

I listened to the speech by Professor Anyang’ Nyong’o on his way forward and more specifically his first 100 days in office.

From
1. setting up City management board
2. Village councils and Administrators
3. Kisumu Roads maintenance Team
4. Clearing drainage
5. Sugarcane woes
6. Rice farming challenges
7. Establishing Economic Advisory Council
8. Lakefront cleanup and opening it for tourism and lake transportation
9. Remove garbage heap at Kachok
10. Setting up Kibuye,Otonglo and Buspark markets using KUP funds of 7.5 billion.

I think his speech touched on the key areas.
He crowned it by highlighting his medium and long term goals.(vision 2040)

If this is followed through then we may be in for great times ahead.
Let the rubber meet the road.
