“Have the chickens finally come home to roost after Budalang’i MP Ababu Namwamba’s plot to disrupt ODM leader Raila Odinga’s Western tour failed? Corridors has it that Namwamba had employed his own media guys and youth to disrupt Odinga’s rally in Busia. It is said former ODM national youth leader Mohammed Rashid was Namwamba’s point-man to execute the plot.
The media guys were to take photos of their “boys” disrupting Odinga’s rallies, send them to Rashid, who quickly delivered to Namwamba. The MP then dispatched the photos of purportedly rowdy ODM youths to media houses and social media to paint the party as chaotic before Odinga’s media team posted theirs. However, Corridors is told pressure has been mounting on Rashid after the failed ‘mission’ and the man is also pressing the “boys” to refund the money, given the shoddy job.”
