BBI report handed over to Uhuru, Raila ahead of public presentation at Bomas

The committee was officially gazetted on May 31, 2018, after which it was supposed to table a report after one year of service.

    The Greater Manchester Operators Standard aims to ensure workers tips are fairly distributed and that customers know where their cash goes.

    The voluntary initiative also aims to compliment workers wellbeing and mental health and foster a trusted workplace culture.

    The scheme is being developed after treatments held by Greater Manchester Night Time Economy Sacha Lord, In which workers and operators were invited to share the issues affecting them and their industry.

    The founder operators who have committed to help shape the scheme include national chain Nando alongside Manchester businesses such as Warehouse Project, The retreat, The Sip Club and Gary Usher Elite Bistros of the universe group, which include Didsbury restaurant Hispi.
