BILLIONAIRE Jacob Juma TELLS OFF Statehouse SIREN Dennis Itumbi over LIES about CORTEC Mining Company

Fellow Kenyans, I hate defending myself over my companies but am compelled to inform progressive Kenyans the truth about myself and my dealings. You cannot fight corruption when you are corrupt yourself.

My attention has been drawn to Dennis Itumbi’s Twitter post that my mining firm Cortec Mining Ltd obtained a mining license for Mrima Hills on 26th March, 2013 when proceedings for presidential petition were on. That is not true. Cortec obtained its license on 1st April 2008 after the area had been gazetted on 30th November, 2007 as required by the Mining Act.

By 2013, our license was 5 years old. However much you lie, the truth will always remain the truth. The truth is, Cortec (CMK) got into trouble after our meeting with Uhuru at State House in Mombasa. Uhuru saw the value of the mine estimated to be over Ksh6 trillion (US$600 billion) and hatched a plan through Balala to steal it by illegally revoking the license with brainless excuses. See the attached.
