Raila Odinga lands in Malindi!

CORD leader Raila Odinga has landed in Malindi where he is scheduled to preside over the first peace prayer meeting in honour of the Kilifi Women Rep Aisha Jumwa who was among the eight (8) Mps recently detained over mysterious charges of Hatespeech.

The CORD leader was received at Malindi Airport by Kilifi governor Amason Kingi and the last born Malindi MP Willy Mtengo ahead of the peace rally to take place in Malindi town.

From Nairobi, Mr Odinga is accompanied by Sen James Orengo , Sen Muthama , ODM’s Director For Elections and campaigns Junet Mohamed , Busia MP Florence Mutua-Waingah among others.

Tomorrow Saturday 25th June 2015 ,Raila and other leaders will join mourners in paying their their last respects at the burial of the Late Hon. Grace Mbodza Chihanga, a nominated MCA (ODM) at the Kilifi County Assembly in Kambe, Rabai Constituency.

On Sunday 26th June 2015, Raila will lead this delegation to similar prayer meeting in Nyamira in honor of Bosire then Busia on Monday in honour of Florence Mutua.

According to the CORD leader’s spokesman Dennis Onyango, Junet and Muthama’s prayer rallies will be communicated at a later date.
