Latest unconfirmed news: A top statehouse operative has ordered for arrest of Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho in order to stop him from attending the relaunching of Mtongwe Ferry Services by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Contingent of regular Police, GSU and Flying squad officers are currently raiding houses in Nyali looking for Governor, this is illegal, they dont have a search warrant from a court of law.They have also set up police checks and road blocks in al exits and entry to and from Nyali estate where Governor Joho resides.
So far they have not managed to arrest the Governor but the effort to lock him out of the function through any means necessary is top gear!
Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa has called Political advisor of the Governor Major Idris questioning him why there was inciting messages on social media, to which he told him off.
