The state has resurrected a case from 2015 to ensure that Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama is held incommunicado for four days and today charged with incitement to violence.
The Prosecutor has tabled the charge sheet in court showing details of Senator Muthama offences going back to 26th September 2015 when CORD held a rally at Uhuru Park.
Lawyer and Siaya Senator James Orengo, appearing for Muthama, has called it THEATRE OF THE ABSURD. Orengo is currently shredding the charge sheet to pieces in a hilarious presentation to the court. He has said the charge sheet belongs to the dustbin.
Muthama has been a consistent thorn in the backside of Uhuruto since 2013 when the Supreme Court declared them winners and this case is being seen as an attempt to silence him.
