Date:

Opposition coalition CORD is not leaving anything to chance in tomorrow’s Malindi parliamentary by-election, the coalition has just pulled a surprise on Statehouse operatives who wanted to interfere in the by-election. Jubilee has spent more than Kshs. 200 million in Malindi campaigns alone and is only expected to manage less than 27% of the votes.

To ensure no single vote is rigged, the coalition has assembled various leaders from across the country to act as polling agents; 95 CORD MPs led by Hon. Jakoyo Midiwo, 23 Senators led by Hon. Johnstone Muthana, 15 Governors led by HE Evans Kidero, and over 300 MCAs led by Hon Teddy Mwambire are in Malindi and will be heading to various polling centres to ensure no rigging takes place.

The coalition is using the by-election in readiness for the 2017 general election, Jubilee has demonstrated intentions to rig by allegedly having provincial administration, Police and NSIS agents intimidating IEBC officials.

In Kericho locals already sounded an alarm due to unusally presence of many GSU police officers KANU strongholds. Jubilee candidate is only popular in Bergut while KANU’s Paul Sang leads in 5 constituencies including his home constituency of Buret.
