Latifah Ngunjiri, who has been in charge of productions and programming at Citizen Television has parted ways with the station.
She has been the head of Citizen Television since its inception and is said to have been very close with the owners of the company and also worked very closely with the managing director Wachira Waruru in laying strategies that led to a faster growth and now the biggest staition in East Africa with millions of viewrs.
When we asked what prompted her departure, Latifah said the time was just right. She said she will now fully concentrate on her media school, Africa Film & TV Talent Training Institute located in Hurligham and other personal interests.
With her big success at Citizen TV, it is almost guaranteed that Latifah will succeed in her new endeavour given her wide connetiions in the media industry.
