The Water CS Eugene Wamalwa continues to receive overwhelming pledge of support and endorsements to vie for Nairobi Governor seat. The latest Nairobi leader and Luhyia luminary to throw his weight behind Hon Eugene Wamalwa is former Lang’ata Constituency Aspirant and businessman Hon Stanley Livondo.
Livondo announced the endorsement at a rally in Embakasi North where he joined Hon Wamalwa, Hon James Gakuya MP Embakasi North and Nairobi County Women Representative and other leaders and Nairobi Jubilee Aspirants for a fundraiser to aid the construction of Kariobangi Catholic Church.
Hon Livondo noted that Senior Luhyia Community Leaders sat down and after discussing the way forward for Luhyia leadership at the National and Regional level decided together that Hon. Eugene Wamalwa should take a stab at Nairobi Governorship. He therefore urged the Luhyia community to unanimously rally behind Hon Wamalwa who is the favourite to win the Nairobi Gubernatorial seat with support of friends and partners in the Jubilee Party and H.E Uhuru Kenyatta Government
In endorsing Hon Wamalwa, Livondo joins a increasingly growing list of Luhyia and National luminaries who declared their unconditional support for Wamalwa to take over as the next Nairobi County Governor. Other prominent Luhyia leaders who have endorsed Hon Eugene Wamalwa for Nairobi Governor include Hon Noah Wekesa, Hon Musikari Kombo, Hon Ababu Namwaba, Hon. Fred Gumo, Hon Fwamba Nc Fwamba, Hon George Nyongesa and Ambassador H.E Yvonne Khamati among others.
