The CURSE of DISRESPECTING Raila CATCHES UP with Citizen TV reporter Kendagor Obadiah- SACKED, now JOBLESS !

Date:

By Hon Jim B and D

Kendagor Obadiah attended most of ODM press conferences to ask Raila Odinga silly questions with the intention of embarrassing the former Prime Minister. Ken is a scum of journalism and an idiot who threw journalistic ethics and neutrality under his pants.

I recall a nasty comment he made at a press conference at Serena Hotel where Jakom named persons of interests in the Eurobond theft, as we were interacting, Ken said, and I quote him verbatim, “I always say huyu mzee anafaa kuretire kutoka siasa. Hakuna kitu anatuambia siku hizi ya maana”.

Today, I hear the guy has been fired from his job. Has he been fired as reported? Oh Yes! the lanky reporter with whiff at Jubilee news-gathering is among the casualties of the first week of March as Citizen TV offloads redundant journalists.

Kendagor has been sent to the ‘centre of inflation’ – as blogger Bogonko Bosire used to put it – alongside  Pheona Kenga, Evelyne Wambui, and Patrick Injendi. No Obadiah no cry.

Obadiah is known in the political news circles as the JAP gate-keeper. Take it from me, he may likely end up in DP Ruto’s office as a communications assistant to another journalist, Emmanuel Talam, who already joined the Jubilee gravy train.

In the alternate, his journey to achieving his long time dream of becoming an Mpig may just kick off, but 2017 is so far for a journalists without an iota of clout, for, without the TV cameras, Kendagor Obadiah is a cooked meat.

Obadiah increasingly became a nuisance at CORD press conferences as he came laden with biased questions which he asked embarrassingly and was more often dismissed, causing Citizen TV a deep in viewers. He was, like many of the journalists nowadays, bidding for his political paymasters.

If JAP does not amount to something significant ahead of 2017, Kendagor’s already dim chances will even be dimmer, as he will have to reckon with a post as Chamge Fm reporter. He can’t go to KANU because he used to badmouth Gideon Moi while bidding for Ruto. Here is a man whose chances are so few, sad.

But his ouster is good for journalism because another baggage has been taken off the profession.
