Shocking news from Budalangi as it emerges unknown people last night made an abortive attempt to petrol bomb (and probably set abalaze) venue of ODM leaders delegates meeting at Town Hall (Port Victoria). The petrol bomb was thrown through one of the windows but failed to explode. The incident is under investigation.

In what is being seen as an act of sabotage, the officer of the county commissioner – Busia County – last night reportedly relocated up to 10 (ten) tractors that were due to be launched by Rt. Hon, Raila Odinga this morning in Budalangi as part of Governor Ojaamong’s on-going agribusiness program aimed as boosting the local economy and improving food security in Busia. The tractors help local subsistence farmers in tilling their land at no cost . The tractors were driven away last night on the orders of sub-county commissioner who is suspected to be in conspiracy with rebel Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba who is an agent of DP Ruto. Namwamba has held numerous secret meetings this week to downplay Raila’s visit to Busia County.
