Jubilee Operatives HUMILIATED in Mombasa as Hon Mishi Mboko is ACQUITTED of FAKE HATE SPEECH Charges by Court

Date:

By Ali Hassan Joho

Chief Magistrate Julius Nange’a after considering the evidence presented by the prosecution in support of the two charges preferred against Hon Mishi Mboko, namely incitement to violence and disobedience of law contrary to section 96(c) of the Penal Code and Incitement of Ethnic hatred contrary to section 62(1) of the national cohesion & integration Act No. 12 of 2008, acquitted Hon. Mishi Mboko with no case to answer under section 210 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

This is a victory to all who believe in the hard fought freedoms that have found expression in our constitution and the attempts by the the national government to claw back on these gains through this spurious and regressive prosecution of Hon. Mishi Mboko has met an inglorious end and justice has prevailed.

My gratitude goes out to the legal team who worked tirelessly to ensure truth prevailed and the people of Mombasa and the country at large for all their support and prayers.
