Morning watu wangu kazi ni mapema….Na mjue Life is like a boat on the ocean. With an anchor, you will meet it where you left it. If you anchored it in Mombasa, Kenya, you will find it there when you come looking for it even after a few months. Without an anchor however, the boat which you left in Mombasa may have drifted away to the middle of nowhere.
You need to be ready to exchange the anchor for the sails. There is no advantage in priding yourself as consistent if you are consistently mediocre. Boats are safe when anchored but that is not what they were made for. You are like a boat. You were never designed to be anchored in one place. Stagnant living is not living. It is existence. Stagnation is the expression of minds that refused to let go of the old and imbibe the new. They are like boats who want to remain anchored for life.
Stagnation is the expression of minds who found such comfort in the past that they chose to live there. Anything left on its own tends to decay. Even a new house built today if uninhabited and unattended to over a period of time will begin to fall apart.
Kwa hivyo mjue watu wangu, You were not made to exist. You were made to live and if you are truly living, you will be ready to swap the anchor for the sails. No one discovers new lands unless they are ready to lose sight of the shore. The riskiest thing you can do with your life is not to take a risk.
