Sunset has come for Sosion’s tenure at KNUT
He has left the giant trade union in ICU, struggling to remain alive
He may be a poor strategist, because it is in his tenure that the union collapsed, but again his bravado, confidence and eloquence remains outstanding

Apart from his latter days, when he began singing praise and worship songs to the ex LUNNA Kidi bassist, Prof Omore Magoha, Sosion was a tough defender of the rights of the teachers

The fact that TSC fought him more viciously, than any other of the former union officials, only buttresses the point that he was indomitable

A union which is friendly to, and works in synchrony with the employer is evidently a compromised one. Now let’s look at the new face at the helm of the teacher’s union, one Collins Oyuu

Firstly, we agreed that a good trade unionist must be hard looking like Atwoli. A handsome guy like Doktari Chibanzi Mwachonda only impresses ladies in press conferences, instead of going for the hairy tennis balls of the employer

This Oyuu looks tough, but talks like a PAG pastor. We want someone who can open his mouth very wide to intimidate the government, like Sosion! This one is likely to sing and dance ndombolo in State House, like AAA aka Adeya Adongo Ambrose did in 1997, after Moi awarded teachers an imaginary salary increment, ending a month long industrial action, that had crippled education

Again he is called “Collins” and he is old, at least 55 years of age. An old Collins is a fraud. Collins were mostly born in the early 90s. A old man with such name calls for inquiry, just like a Kevo or Brayo who is 80 years old
People that age should be Obadia, Nahashon and such names

On matters education, everyone is a stakeholder, thus the leadership of KNUT is of everyone’s concern. We give him a benefit of doubt and wish he succeeds in his new roles
