The deal between Uhuru and Raila numbed political tensions, but has turned into a juggernaut that is blind to shrinking economy, rising debt, unemployment and corruption. Yesterday’s critics, are today’s cheerleaders, turning Parliament into a Pentecostal echo chamber. Who will speak for Kenyans?
What is politics? Politics revolve around being on guard for trouble, you find it, you diagnose it wrongly, and then apply a wrong remedy.
Politicians are very important in a country because they are people’s representatives. They also execute and make laws for their land to make it develop both ideologically as well as economically. Politicians tend to give speeches some of them containing wisdom as well as observations on politics and life like Economist and retired president Mwai Kibaki.
“Do not use leadership as a way to satisfy all your personal greed, but use it to better people’s lives.” -Mwai Kibaki, third president of Kenya
FACT is that the Opposition Powerhouse Raila Odinga of yesterday is not the Raila in government of today.
