Kisumu Police Boss Mr Njiru REWARDED with a PROMOTED after Officers SHOT DEAD TWO Peaceful Anti-IEBC Protestors

Date:

Kisumu County police commander Nelson Njiri has been promoted one week after a protester was shot dead under his watch in the lake-side city.

Njiri has been moved to the Kenya Airports Authority as the General Manager in charge of security.

The former commander replaces Eric Kiraithe, who is now the national government spokesman.

Taking Njiri’s place in Kisumu is current Mwea East OCPD Titus Yoma, while Athi River OCPD Kizito Mutoro is being transferred to Mwea East in the same capacity.

The protester was shot dead in Kisumu last Monday during demonstrations calling for the removal of IEBC commissioners .
