Luos will not go to the streets to die for democracy again, Ruto should prepare his base for ‘maandamano’

One thing Kenyans must know is that the Luos are not going back to the streets to die for anyone.
We died more than anyone else in 2007/2008. We died more than anyone else in 2013 and the same in 2017.

Since independence, we have really suffered and our livelihoods have been destroyed and scortched earth economic policy has been applied on us by successive regimes because of our stand for democracy and the rule of law which has always been equated to standing up against a govt.

Our factories have been destroyed and region denied development support.
We have paid the price for the constitution Ruto didn’t want and is now supporting more than anyone else. We lost more intellectuals because of the differences at Bomas more than anyone else.

We have enough brothers and sisters without loved ones because of their political leanings. Professionals who are Luo have been hounded out of govt. People have been forced into economic misery because of their ethnicity.

Asked yourself why the best carpenters, welders, mechanics, masons and even painters are Luos? Because every time a Luo leader criticized the govt, the Junior employees in govt and private sector were hounded out of govt.

We have paid a price. We have enough graves and memories of our fight. We have changed tact.
Please Kenyans, look for another community to carry the opposition mantle. We aren’t going back there. We will be in govt this time. That’s a resolution we have all made and we will do anything to achieve this.
