DP Ruto in TROUBLE, Kindiki tells him ‘Merus have NO CONTRACT with him beyond 2017’

Date:

Senate majority leader Kithure Kindiki on Wednesday told Deputy President William Ruto categorically that the Meru community will not support his dream for presidency in 2022.

He told him in his face that the Meru community “has no contract with anyone beyond 2017”.

Speaking at Kiburine in Tharaka Nithi when inspecting road works, the Senator however, urged Meru and Tharaka Nithi residents to support the re-election of President Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto next year.

Kindiki cautioned the Meru community against supporting the formation of one regional political party and instead, focus on development.

He said for Meru to gain political recognition and earn the national bargaining power, leaders from every nook and cranny in the two counties must unite because for a long time, the two counties have been divided by greedy leaders.
