MURKOMEN: Luo Leaders Want RAILA On Ballot In 2022 Because They Can’t Fight On Their Own

Date:

Senate Majority Leader and Elgeya Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen says majority of Luo leaders fear they will not make it on their own if Prime Minister Raila Odinga is not on the ballot come 2022.

Speaking on Citizen TV’s the Big Question, Senator Murkomen told Hussein Mohammed that Luo leaders are not used to fighting their wars alone.

He said they depend on Raila Odinga to support them by endorsing them on the people and begging voters for them.

He asked them to stop depending too much on Raila and try and fight for themselves.

I want to tell you Hussein that most of Luoland leaders especially Members of Parliament cannot win on their own without the support of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. That is why most of them are worried upon hearing that Raila will not be on the ballot. Hussein, it is time for Luo leaders to fight on their own and start hunging on Raila’s coat for survival

Murkomen’s remarks seemed not to have augured well with with Homa Bay Town MP hon Peter Kaluma who was also a panelist on the programme.
