CORD principals Rt Hon Raila Odinga His Excellency Kalonzo Musyoka joined the Maa community for a traditional initiation ceremony for selected youth – Moran rights of passage event in Isinya, Kajiado. The event was hosted by Gov Nkedienya and Hon Elija Memusi.
Also present were Governors H. E Isaac Rutto (Bomet), H. E Jack Ranguma (Kisumu), H. E Malombe (Kitui), H. E John Mruttu (Taita Taveta) and a host of Senators and MPs at the Maasai Moran rights of passage event in Kajiado East.
This is an extremely significant event in the cultural calendar of the Maa community.
