Mombasa Governor and ODM deputy Party leader Hon Hassan Joho downplayed the persistent harassment by Uhuru regime (its all in God’s/Allah hands) and continued with normal schedule. The governor has been on 48hours marathon ran in Malindi constituency (roaming in villages) where he together with Coast leaders pitched tent for ODM candidate in the 7th March by election.
The residents of Malindi town ward, Sheila ward, Ganda ward and the Mijikenda elders have been my hosts in the different successful ODM meetings and rallies I have had in Malindi. I was accompanied by local leaders from Kilifi County led by Governor Amason kingi and Women representative Aisha Jumwa with support from my brothers Rashid Bedzimba and Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir.During the sessions we agreed on a roadmap with respect to the up-coming March 7th by-elections among other issues. As the Deputy Party Leader of ODM, I was impressed by the warm reception and the commitment of the people of Malindi towards the Orange Democratic Movement. Governor Joho posted on his Facebook page
