Now a tiny University called Pwani University, on the outskirts of Kenya, off Mombasa, In a deserted ugly town of Kilifi is on rampage and strike over flimsy demands one of them being: Hawapelekwi trips. Yes you heard me right. They want academic trips.
How University student leaders are able to convince a whole population of students who claim to be intellectuals to go on strike because they want trips beats logic. You destroy property because you have been denied a trip you paid for, isn’t that foolishness and backwardness? That’s why I insist, these boys and girls must be suspended.
Pwani University must now move with speed and expel the student leaders who incited the rest to strike and destroy property. They should never be allowed back to the University. Should they be allowed back it will be a travesty. Out here these are not the leaders we want. We can’t be castigating our politicians for being crooks & support criminal student leaders. Ushenzi lazima ikome at some point.
