From today through this week, The great grandson of Nabongo Mumia,Raila Odinga, embarks in a more extensive tour of Western , Kakamega county.
Raila’s convoy sets off this morning from 10am where the ODM party leader is scheduled to address roadside stopovers in Manyulia, Shiatsala through Butere town and thereafter address public rallies in Sabatia and Khwisero Market.
The tour which is second one in under one month shall see the Cord Leader address the county’s social, economic and political issues.
During the five-day tour, Raila will also hold meetings with ODM grassroots leaders in the region.
The tour is at the behest and invitation of the ODM Deputy Party Leader Wycliffe Oparanya after push by Kakamega residents to have The party leader visit the region.
