NASA supreme leader the Rt Hon Raila Odinga on Friday left Kenya for South Africa for private engagements (will visit his daughter Rosemary who is hospitalised there)
Raila left a few minutes after 7 am via a Kenya Airways flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Rosemary Odinga, his eldest daughter was flown to South Africa on February 28 for further treatment, she had been admitted at the Aga Khan and Nairobi hospitals for eight days before being flown to SA.
“I have left the country for South Africa to visit my eldest daughter Rosemary who is hospitalised there,” Raila said via twitter.
Raila said he will be out of the country for slightly over a week.
“Over the weekend, I will travel to the USA from S. Africa for a number of engagements. Keep well and see you all soon,” he said.
Meanwhile Governors Ali Hassan Joho aka 001 and H.E Josphat Nanok aka Ngamia 1 will be in charge of ODM Party affairs, Nanok is National co Chairman and Joho is the deputy party leader.
