TOUGH TALKING Raila WARNS ODM Aspirants against causing CHAOS, Party summons Obado and Hon Ongoro over chaos in Migori and Ruaraka

PRESS STATEMENT:

The Central Committee met this afternoon under the Chair of the Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, the Party Leader. It received and considered

(i) The contents of communication from the IEBC with regared to Political Party primaries.

(ii) Recent acts of violence in Migori County, Ruaraka and Mathare Constituencies, including invasion and attack of the Party’s National Secretariat.

Having deliberated on the foregoing, the Committee resolved as follows:

a) The ODM primaries are here rescheduled and shall commence on 13th April, 2017 and end on 25th April, 2017 as per attached schedule.

b) That the Party’s Central Committee condemns unreservedly the acts of violence in the named counties and constituencies and hereby mandates the Disciplinary Committee to convene and speedily dispose of these matters. The Central Committee expects to receive the Disciplinary Committee report not later than Tuesday 11th April, 2017.

Please note the following are summoned to appear before Disciplinary Committee in person and without being accompanied by supporters on Monday 10th April, 2017 at Orange House.
