Uhuru Kenyatta is getting desperate and dangerous. And bad for Kenya.
The markets are collapsing. National exams in limbo. IEBC has set a date. The country is on edge. The cost of rigging an election is now becoming apparent.
Yet President Uhuru, the author of the rigging and the current confusion, refuses to concede not just the fact of the crime, but the economic and social implications that now transcend the country’s borders.
He is standing as a candidate in the Supreme Court ordered repeat poll, defiant, arrogant and abusive. And drunk. With his runningmate, William Ruto, a corrupt ‘mkora’ who passes himself as a hustler (a swindler) with a running but always empty brain, the two are rushing the country into a disaster.

We respect the decision of the court but we will revisit it at a later date and fix it. For now let us meet at the ballot. pic.twitter.com/tzRVXsbupe

As usual, President Uhuru has the corrupt church system by his side, composed mainly by the evangelical clergy from his own Kikuyu ethnic group, who are egging him on, while at the same time numbing the country with high sounding but empty moralising edicts.
Cardinal John Njue. Canon Peter Karanja. Bishop Mark Kariuki. Men of the cloth. Church corruption.
The same clergy is yet to condemn, and order for criminal prosecution, those who bungled the election. Because they know on whose behalf they did it.
President Uhuru doesn’t want a legitimate election. He wants to be President. By any means necessary. It has been pumped on him that the presidency is necessary to protect decades of ill-gotten wealth by patriarchs and matriarchs of his ethnic group as well as new looters, many his age and younger than him, who’ve looted the county nearly dry in his one term as president.
The loot, and the accompanying circus, was dramatized by the NYS scandal and the Health scandal, whose prime movers remain cozy with President Uhuru; with the NYS scam architect Anne Waiguru winning an election on Uhuru’s Jubilee Party.
The people who support Uhuru are currently manipulating Kenya’s business environment, creating all sorts of scaremongering propaganda, which made the stock market nearly collapse out of the sheer terror of the rule of law ascending to the presidency after the Supreme Court nullified Uhuru’s dubious election.
Solutions?@jaindikisero : How do we reinvigorate our economy whilst expanding our democracy?
Please give us some concrete suggestions. https://t.co/9z2ziiBU6n— Joyce Nyairo (@jnyairo) September 6, 2017
Uhuru remaining in power also lengthens the shelf-life of a criminal death squad that morphed up in the post-2007 elections and which continue to terrorize Kenyans with sometimes very chilling killings. The brutality of Uhuru regime is known in homes whose breadwinners were murdered cold blood, and bodies dumped along roadsides and bushes.
Meshak Yebei. Jacob Juma. Chris Msando. All dead, murdered. Killed to escape international murder trial. Killed to stop exposing graft. Killed to steal an an election.
So clinging to power for Uhuru goes beyond any electoral imperative.
To achieve this, as was witnessed in the run-up to the last polls, President Uhuru is ready to do anything to cling to power. He is ready to kill (#RIPMsando), to rig (#AlgorithmsAreNotVoters), to cheat (our children must do exams), and swear and curse (at Chief Justice David Maraga).
President Uhuru is a monster whom the world must stop. And the world has started.
