I thought the rallying call to Kenyans was don’t go to the streets go to court.
I thought the constitution which is supreme! Which is the vested citizen powers, gives “Hawa watu wasita” the powers to arbitrate.
So now the president is demonizing them saying they think they are more important and even goes ahead to threaten The Chief Justice and the Supreme court judges.
So saying go to court, what did that mean? Should we think the court does not have powers? Or if they exercise it they shall be punished? Should we just not bother with courts?
Should we scrap the constitution and independent institutions altogether?
