Am told this is a Kalenjin war song normally sang only by traditionally circumcised Kalenjin men. There was no violence in Uasin Gishu yesterday, but there was an eerie calm. They marched, made this war cry, then dispersed. Apparently this was a message to Ruto if he is “man enough” should rig Governor Mandago out and offer his stooge Buzeki the Jubilee ticket…. Uasin Gishu would move to the opposition. Chilling war cry!
