Mombasa city has been turned to a police state with security personel spending better part of the morning erecting road blocks and searching for county governor Ali Hassan Joho. They finally caught up with him at Nyali bridge where they detained him briefly beforefore escorting him to his office. His office is currently surrounded by tens of armed police.
